Activities For The Inauguration of Imo State Governor-elect Commence

Boniface Ihiasota Activities lined up for the inauguration of Imo State Governor-elect, RT. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha continued on Monday with the presentation of the report of the Imo State Transition and Technical Committee set up by the governor Elect. The event held at the Conference Hall of Protea Hotels, Owerri, saw the TTC led by Dr Earnest Ebi, a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, presenting the report to the incoming governor. Commending the committee that was inaugurated on the 3rd of April, for accepting the responsibility to serve Ndi Imo at this material time, Ihedioha urged them to remain steadfast and committed to the rebuild Imo agenda, restating his belief that Imo shall rise again. The event was attended by prominent Imolites from all walks of life,including the Deputy Governor-elect, Hon. Gerald Irona, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, amongst several others. The inauguration activities was kicked off on Sunday with an Interdenominational service, while a novelty match between ex-Super Eagles footballers and prominent Nollywood actors rounded up activities for Monday.
