Atiku, Obi File Ex-parte Motions, Demand Election Materials Inspection
The presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, have respectively taken legal action to seek permission from the Presidential Election Court (PEC) to inspect materials used during the February 25 presidential election.
The candidates, who have refused to concede defeat in the election, have filed two ex-parte motions at the PEC secretariat in Abuja, with the Independent National Electoral Commission and two others as respondents.
The motions have been listed for hearing on Friday.
