Angry Protesters Clash with Police over Covid-19 Restrictions in Northern Italy


ANGRY protesters in Northern Italy have clashed with police, as demonstrations spread across the country over government restrictions aimed at controlling a second wave of the virus.

In Turin, Dozens were wounded in these clashes, as protesters set fire to garbage bins and looted luxury boutiques, including Gucci and Louis vuitton stores, police said.

In Milan, police fired tear gas to disperse crowds. Also, in the protests in Turin, Taxi drivers also joined the protests due to concerns the new covid-19 restrictions will negatively affect their businesses.
