Mr. Ihiasota is the Publisher of Excel Magazine International, co-publisher of Excel Travel and Style Magazine, and co-producer of Excel TV, all of which are sister companies to Excel Global Media Group an international media organization headquartered in the United States. The brand celebrates EXCELLENCE in people, places, events, and projects Africa’s news for global appreciation through print, graphics, and multimedia Journalism.
He is a journalist, publisher, entrepreneur, and philanthropist from the Eastern Nigerian, Imo State precisely. With a humble background, he worked so hard to climb the ladder of success. He is also a board member of the KDE Disability Africa Foundation; a charity organization based in Texas that caters for the needs of people living with disability in Africa and across the world.
He started as a photographer and saw himself through school all to the university level and also trained some of his younger ones. With only himself and God as a source of motivation, he put his hard work and diligence into work and became a man at a very tender age. Without being conformed to peer pressure and other illicit affairs engaged in by a lot of youth and young people in order to meet up with the societal standard, Mr. Ihiasota is a product of hard work and consistency. He worked his way to the top through the help of God.
Mr. Ihiasota had started building his journey in the media before he gained admission into the university. He started off with a career in photojournalism while partnering with other media organizations as a representative, regional head, and correspondent where he made a lot of imparts and built a strong connection. His experience in the media organizations birthed his own media organization, Excel Magazine International.
With its root in Imo State, Nigeria Mr. Ihiasota has been able to expand the organization to major states in Nigeria including Lagos, Abuja, etc. With the help of God Excel Magazine International now has branches across different African countries and beyond such as Ghana, Liberia, Kenya, etc.
Though he is still on the road to success, his eye for excellence in all aspects of journalism has earned him global recognition, making him a recipient of numerous awards and professional certificates both locally and internationally. Mr. Ihiasota has covered a lot of high-profile events both in Nigeria and abroad.
Excel Magazine International was one of the media houses that did inclusive coverage for the funeral of late Ghanaian President Atta Mills, and Nelson Mandela, among other world leaders. Excel Magazine International is also the only African magazine that covered the US-Africa Leaders Summit hosted by President Barack Obama in August 2014 in the United States.
The organization has been accredited in the Whitehouse since 2014 till date and also in the United Nations. As a publisher of the organization, Mr. Boniface covers High level bilateral of Nigeria in United Nations and African Affairs in the United States.
Excel Magazine International is one of the media outlets working very hard to unite Nigerians and Africans in the Diaspora through its media platforms by celebrating African excellence in different countries in Africa and abroad.
